Bear & Berries je název poslední dokončené kolekce obrazů Dominiky Brejchové. Představuje soubor 11 pláten inspirovaných putováním po západní Kanadě, konkrétně cestou národními parky mezi Calgary a Vancouverem, kterou autorka absolvovala v červenci roku 2023. Obrazy jsou malované technikou kombinující malbu akrylem, sprejování a strukturování pomocí jemného písku. Obrazy oslavují dechberoucí přírodu, scenérie kanadských hor a sezónu, kdy jsou běžně k vidění medvědi krmící se zrajícími bobulemi.

Tato kolekce je výrazná svou barevnou paletou, jež je pro autorku nezvykle temná a kontrastní. Obrazy spojují temné tóny zelené a černé v kombinaci s výraznou růžovou a kontrastní bílou.

Bear & Berries is the lastest collection of Dominika Brejchova’s paintings. It is a serie of 11 canvases inspired by travels through western Canada, particularly through national parks between Calgary and Vancouver, which the author took in July 2023. The paintings are created with a technique combining acrylic paints, spraying and structuring with sand. They celebrate breath-taking nature, sceneries of canadian mountains and the season, when you can commonly see bears feeding on ripening berries.

This collection is distinctive in its colour range which is unusually dark and contrasting. The paintings are connected with dark tones of green and black in combination with bold pink and contrasting white.
